Metal mostly. Which is kind of funny because I only produce electronic music. I suppose the reason I like metal is because I can't deconstruct it while listening, like I do with electronic tunes. Like they say, don't dissect the frog.

No preferred genre. I like to keep an open mind. I listen to whatever ticks with me. That which forces me to shake a leg. But I hate country, don't know why though.

I like showtunes the best. You know, Broadway music. I also like alternative, classical, and punk rock. Pop can be good every now and again. And of course the 80's.  8)

I listen to all types, but prefer Hip-Hop and rap. Always spoke to me culturally, and has a lot of variety to it. Still love every genre though, especially dubstep

I have a liking for a little bit of everything within all genre's and sub-genre's.

But I cannot stand things like pop, country, metal, emo, screamo, dubstep, and other sub-genre's of those.

I have an ear for things that're either very soft and peaceful, or things that're very trippy and weird; referring to electronic, house, deep-house, lounge, and trap music.

Within the pop genre, I can kinda get into Beyonce and Lorde; but other than that, I can't stand it. It all sounds the same to me.

As for country, I have yet to find anything I like. It all sounds the same, and it's all just terrible.

No offense to any ones' preferences, but those're just my personal opinions :) I often get yelled at for them.  ;D

I'll admit it, I like pop. Top 40, cookie cutter, autotuned songs fill up my ipod. I do listen to other stuff as well, I've been getting into classical music lately, it's SUPER relaxing to listen to.

The only thing I WON'T listen to is death metal. It's not for me.

I like 50's jazz. Which I doubt anyone mentioned  :o

However, I think it depends on what mood you're in. I love motown, metal, hip-hop, country, classical, & anything one can think of but it depends on how I feel that day as to which playlist I'm going to pump up the volume on.

You say "a little bit of everything", then exclude a whole lot of stuff, starting with the two most popular genres.  Try Bluegrass and folk country.

Your response actually made me cringe. You can't say that you like a little bit of everything while simultaneously claiming that you can't stand 6+ different genres of music.

I must say I love many genres of music, but I listen to hip hop the most. I don't love the kill this, sale that, and smash shorty music. I like the true artist like Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, and Wale. I love 2 Pac music also, and I can't say that I don't hear artist trying to be like him. I guess the genre of music I'm listening to depends on how I'm feeling at the time. If I'm feeling chill I'm listening to old school r&b, and if I'm feeling rowdy I'm more than likely listening to some rap music.
