Post by: queenbellevue on April 06, 2015, 04:52:03 AM

Probably don't need to spend much...most of the $30-$50 mics like the Shure PG48 should be more than adequate for karaoke imo

Yeah, you can probably go for a cheap one, since you really don't need any particular quality. Just go for whatever's in your budget.

Specifically, a good microphone can be used for karaoke purposes banding with family or friends. This is also can help to boost confidence a person who will use the microphone for singing in karaoke places like bars. Sad to say, most of microphones right now are annoyingly produces bad sounds due to of low quality. Good microphones can produce good quality of sounds that satisfy your needs.

I'd recommend the Shure SM58 for most live vocal performances. It's small yet it's a fantastic microphone. It'll definitely take a beating, too. The bass increases as you get closer to the mic, so if you want that rich, deep sound, you can definitely get it. It'll definitely suit your needs, and it'll definitely last as well. There's many a testimonial which will attest to its sheer durability and strength even when in the harshest of environments.

I think since its for karaoke purposes I wouldn't spend a lot on a microphone. Stick to your budget, I think as long as it works that's all that matters.

You can pretty much buy any mic for karaoke. As long as you're not releasing anything to the public on a professional level, you know don't need to pay so much for it.
