Budgeting; Home Studio Mics
« on: May 06, 2015, 09:22:46 AM »
I recently have gotten my own home studio set-up, and while looking to set up as a hobbyist I wanted quality, but the price tags on most high-end audio/recording equipment can be pretty scary. But with some research I was able to find some budget, quality equiptment and here I'd just like to share what I personally decided to go with for both condenser, and dynamic.

Condenser: Audio Technica AT2020 ($149 average)

Dynamic: (You guessed it) Shure SM58 ($99 average)

That's a good deal and those microphones are definitely not bad at all. I'm planning to buy a new one and I'm going to check out these mics as well.

M-audio products are the best. Their price is not even high!
