Best Microphone for the job
« on: April 21, 2015, 09:56:13 PM »
I am in the process of purchasing a new microphone. I want one that is of quality that will not break the bank. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What do you need it for? Karaoke? Professional music? Games?

M-audio has good microphones for recording. They range from 120- 200 dollars. But of course, if you want real professional quality, the Blue Microphone is the best.

It really all depends on the purpose of the mic. If you're looking for something easy to hook up to a computer and use with great quality for a good price then I'd recommend any of the Blue Yeti mics. However like I said it really all depends on the purpose as these are used for stable locations whereas dynamic mics would be used for live performance. There's a variety of different mics but it generally comes down between condenser and dynamic. Hopefully that helps.

Shure microphones are the best ones in my opinion as they are clear and your voice is resonated well without sounding tinny or stuck in a hall somewhere.

If you're looking for the BEST, then you must get a blue microphone.

I couldn't agree more! I wish I own one.
