Fender foot pedal for accoustic guitar
« on: May 11, 2015, 05:46:06 AM »
Many musicians try to get some shortcuts as the equipment can be expensive when you cannot afford it.
Recently we tried to use the acoustic guitar with the fender pedal and it sounded just like a fender but it is not the same and the sound is strange if there is no fender being used. This makes the musician sound false and people would assume then that you are going to lipsink too.
Don't take shortcuts if you want to be a good musician

Your problem might be that you were using an electrical guitar pedal for an acoustic. That usually sounds weird and probably bad depending on the pedal. Acoustic pickups are different than electric ones and most pedals are optimized for electric guitars. There are certain brands like Fishman that make pedals specifically for acoustic guitars. I don't know how expensive they are though.
