Why Ableton Over Other DAWs?
« on: May 08, 2013, 07:46:45 PM »
If Ableton Live is your go to DAW, I'm curious as to why? Not because I think it's bad, I've just been seeing a big shift over to Ableton in terms of popularity in music production forums, discussions, etc. Did the release of Ableton Live 9 win you over or have you been using Ableton for a long time?
The things that intrigue me the most when researching Ableton Live is the unique Session View for automation, the selection of plugins out of the box, and the audio to midi feature.

So, if you choose Ableton Live over other recording software / digital audio workstations, what's your reasoning?
