Native Instruments - Komplete 9
« on: April 10, 2013, 07:37:11 PM »
Native Instruments recently released Komplete 9. Throughout my time creating music I've used numerous NI products, buying them individually, but I've always been hesitant to pull the trigger on the Komplete Bundle. This is a very impressive collection - on the site they say "our most ‘komplete’ ever with 65 products and a staggering 370 GB of sound" - but I'm not sure if I'd end up paying for a lot of software that wouldn't get used and only utilize a portion of it. Does anyone here have experience with the entire Komplete Bundle?

I think if you made the purchase you'd have more sounds and plugins than you could ever want, but like you said you wouldn't use half of them. I'm really satisfied with most of the NI products I've used especially Maschine. Native Instruments is the real deal and I'm not sure if you'd be unhappy with the bundle but that's a lot of money that could be put into other areas of your setup/studio. I can't speak from the perspective of someone that's owned the "Komplete" package, but I think you're probably in the right mindset just choosing individual ones that you will use and not cashing out on a bunch of stuff that will just sit on your harddrive.

Who can afford a couple grand for sound plugins and effects ? :-\ That's dedication lol. I just bought my first VST plugin that didn't come with Ableton Live and I feel ripped off. It wasn't from NI but it's called symphonic instrument and it's really funky. I'm not real happy with the sounds.
