Is there a good mobile DAW app for your phone/tablet?

I've heard good things about Caustic and Audio Evolution Mobile. Anyone had experience with these apps?

Caustic is a very advanced audio app for smartphones, I have tried it on Android. However, it's not really my thing and I found it way too technical and difficult to learn how to use. I have heard some stunning results with it though. I also tried the Audio Evolution app and I think it's pretty good. Fruity Loops is now also available as a mobile app. The problem though, really lies with Android and latency.

iOS is generally a lot better for music than Android is, just a Apple Macs are better for music than PC's. I have seen one amazing piece of software on the iPad which was used for music and it was one of the best pieces of software I've ever seen. I didn't use it myself though, a friend did. I have no idea what the name of that program was but it was excellent. I'll have to try to find out.

I don't know any DAW app for iPad or mobile. But seriously, Garage Band on iPad is still efficient! I use it for songwriting when I'm not on my desk.

Plus one to this comment, garage band is my go to on iPad, always like the interface and ease of use which is even more so important when you are on a mobile device with limited resources
