Best DAW in 2013

Best Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) of 2013

Digital Audio Workstations have come a long way since I started making music. There are dozens of them out there all competing to stay relevant, and when it comes down to it you can produce the same results in almost all of the popular DAWs if you know how to work inside of them. I've had the opinion that which DAW is best depends on the person and their workflow, what you're looking for in the program, and what your clients and people you'll be collaborating with are using, but disregarding preference I want to know which DAW you think is the best right now in 2013. Cast your vote and reply w/ the reasons why you think it's the best one.

I'ma have to go with FL. Because it's so easy to use mad people try to front like that makes it a bad program. I think once you got it down you can do some great stuff w/ it. Reason is really tight, studio one is starting to be really good, and of course everyone and their mom that thinks they're a producer is using Pro Tools. I'ma stick w/ FL Studio.

8)Reaper hands down... It takes a bit to get used to, but once you get Passed that it is a phenomenal DAW! The Workflow is Phenomenal! I have Pro-tools, Reason, Ableton, and Harrison Mix bus.. Reaper takes them all!

I'm going to go with Reason this round. With the addition of rack extensions it's back on my list of great DAWs. The one thing I never liked about Reason was losing all my VSTs and other plugins, and even though rack extensions don't completely correct this, at least there will be a wider range of selection from external developers.

I like Sony Acid.  I used a trial version and liked the overall feel and GUI.  But I've been using Sonar LE since it came with my sound card.  I figured I might as well use it..

Uh Oh a Tie between Ableton Live and FL Studio for the best DAW in 2013? I'd agree with 2infamouz that there is no "best DAW" or "top DAW" for music production when it comes down to it - it is all about how you work. But if we come down to who's the most relevant and making the most progress, staying at the top in 2013, I'll stick with Reason for the best digital audio workstation or recording software.

No it's an awful DAW created to be sold through affiliates on clickbank, not to produce music.

Wow no votes for Logic or Pro Tools??? That's shocking. I thought half the e-producers were riding the Pro Tools bandwagon lol

Lol yeah that is pretty shocking. Logic has been gaining popularity pretty fast too...put "Apple" in front of anything and it seems to take off -.-

They probably r the most user friendly. I can get a lot more done faster in FL and Ableton than others I've tried out.
